Overview

decodeURIComponent() is a JavaScript function used to decode URIs.

Parameters

decodeURIComponent() can have a single parameter:

uri: the URI to be decoded.

Return possibilities

Returns the decoded URI.

Exemple

JavaScript

decodeURIComponent(https%3A%2F%2Fcsec.raided.eu%2F%40hello%23world)

This will decode the given URI.
