FROM SQL Keyword

Overview

The FROM keyword is the keyword used to tell the server what table you want to work with.

Example

For example, let's say you have a table called 'users', and you want to get the name of the user whose 'userid' is 1.
The query would be

SQL
SELECT name FROM users WHERE userid = 1;

Here, the FROM keyword tells the server to look into the 'users' table.
